Terms and Conditions
Equipment Warranty
All equipment warranties are provided by the original supplier and exclude labour and transportation costs.
Installation Workmanship Guarantee
All installations carried out by Xtreme Thermo Systems (Pty) Ltd include a 12-month workmanship guarantee. This is in addition to the supplier’s conditional warranty and is subject to regular servicing of the unit.
Third-Party Equipment
No warranty will be provided on any units or spare parts not supplied by Xtreme Thermo Systems (Pty) Ltd.

All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Access and Safety Requirements
- Scaffolding may be required for work conducted at heights exceeding 5 metres and will be charged accordingly.
- For first-floor installations, outdoor units may need to be lowered by approximately 2–3 metres to ensure technician safety and allow for future maintenance. Any associated costs will be for the client’s account.
Warranty Validation Requirements (Air Conditioning Units)
To maintain the validity of any warranty claim, the following conditions must be met:
1. Electrical Compliance
The end user is responsible for ensuring that all electrical connections comply with applicable regulations.
- Units must be connected to a distribution board with an isolator, unless otherwise permitted for smaller units using a plug point.
- The end user must confirm compliance with their insurance provider’s requirements.
- Electrical points may be supplied by either the end user or Xtreme Thermo Systems (Pty) Ltd, subject to site conditions and feasibility.
2. Servicing Requirements
- Residential units must be serviced twice annually.
- Commercial units must be serviced four times annually.
- It is the end user’s responsibility to arrange these services with Xtreme Thermo Systems (Pty) Ltd.
3. Correct Unit Sizing
The installed unit must be suitable for the size of the area. Please refer to the sizing guidelines available on our website.
4. Authorised Personnel Only
Only technicians authorised by Xtreme Thermo Systems (Pty) Ltd may perform any work on the unit. Any unauthorised work will void the warranty
